I’m a question asker. I have no problem asking for the definition of the $.75 word you just used, or spending 20 minutes quizzing you about your new finch habitat that shares a room with your kid’s playspace. (Yes, we really do have friends who have a finch habitat, and yes, I really do know all about it…)

Do you ask questions?

If you look at 4-year-olds, they are constantly asking questions and wondering how things work. But by the time they are 6 ½ years old they stop asking questions because they quickly learn that teachers value the right answers more than provocative questions.
