Best of 2009 – Trip

solong2009Today is day 1 of The Best of 2009 Blog Challenge from Gwen Bell. I don’t normally do these things, but this one seems fun and well thought out… so here we go!

December 1 – Best Trip

Now, I’ll bet a lot of you would think I’m going to say my honeymoon in Maui. That was pretty stellar.

But the best trip -  in an all-around sense? Road Trip #2.

We’d done the drive a year and a half earlier, moving Megan out here and catalyzing me to figure my shit out.

Road Trip #2 was about finally figuring out where home was for me – with Megan.

Might be the best trip ever.

  • Elisa, hey. Would you believe I don't usually do these things either? And I have never hosted one. But I have already met you through it - so that's pretty rad. Your honeymoon sounds gorgeous. And the road trip looks like fun (I'm in CO though, so I'm partial to the beauty here).

    I want to take a defensive driving course in 2010. And buy an Aston Martin in 2011. I'm kind of in love with that car but I hate driving at the moment. Guess it's like math. I just have to get in the swing of it. Anyway, I'll be reading - thanks for taking the #best09 leap.

    The road trip was fun - especially since the end result was living in CO with the most fantastic human on the planet.

    Do the zipline if you ever get to Maui.

    Aston Martin is a hot car... you'll love driving it even if you hate driving.
