C25K Materials:
I started out checking my watch as I ran, but that became too much of a pain in the ass. I’ve since moved to using these mixes I made.
These are my own personal use. If you *borrow* them you do so knowing you didn’t purchase the music embedded in them. (Or maybe you did and we have the same taste in music… in which case you’re in the clear.)
- Week 1
- Week 2
- Week 3 (this mix sort of stinks… sorry)
- Week 4 (best of the bunch)
- Week 5
- Week 6
- Week 7
- Week 8
Adding to your iPod (or other music player)
There have been lots of questions about how to get these onto folks’ iPods. It shouldn’t matter what kind of music player you use – it’s all about getting the files into iTunes so you can load them up onto your player of choice. Here’s a step-by-step.
- PC: In Firefox: Right-click/Save Link As
- PC: In Internet Explorer: Rick-click/Save Target As
- Mac: In Safari: Control-click (or right-click if you use a 2 button mouse on your Mac)/Save Link As
- Go find the file you just downloaded. It will be an M4a.
- Open iTunes
- Go to File/Add to Library
- Browse to the file and select the file.
- The file will import into iTunes.
- You can then add it to your iPod or other music player as you would other files.

This is great, can't wait to try it out. Thanks!
Okay I'm sorry to bother you with this. I have an Ipod Nano and it's a year old I am trying to download week1 and it wants to do it as a mpeg4 movie and my nano doesn't have that feature, is there a way around this. Thanks so much for all of your help and time.
when will you be putting up week 9?
I am having the same problem. Please help!
I'm not sure what the trouble is. I have a 60GB and a Shuffle and these work on both. Are you using iTunes to load? These should import fine into iTunes and you should then be able to add these to your music player of choice. Good luck!
I stopped at week 8 – because after that, you're running for time/distance, and there was no need for the verbal queues. Good luck!
im having trouble getting week 2 to go to my shuffle. is there anything i need to do in order for itunes to allow it to be synced?
I really like the songs from week 1, can you let me know the names of them?
Thanks !!
I'm having trouble too. Week one somehow worked fine even though I didn't know what I was doing. Now it won't work because it keeps saving as a movie type. I'm using a shuffle too.
Thanks for these. I'm sure they'll help out big time.

Interval Running Man
I can't download these on my Ipod which I just bought last week.
I've just added instructions to the page. Try again? Good luck!
I've just added instructions to the page. Try again? Good luck!
Thank you for the directions. I did it!
Well done!
Here you go!
P!nk – So What
Katy Perry – I Kissed a Girl
Fort Minor – Remember The Name
Beyonce – Single Ladies
Jay-Z – Numb Encore
Sugarland – Take Me As I Am
Justin Timberlake & Madonna – 4 Minutes
Journey – Send Her my Love
Carrie Underwood – Last Name
I just bought a 16G Nano and these files won't load onto it from iTunes because MPEG4s are movie files. Anyone else have this issue?
Shouldn't matter – I have a Shuffle and a 60g and it works on both. Did you follow the instructions above?
I tried to load wek 1 to my computer to put it on my MP3 and it says you have to buy Quicktime Pro??? Any ideas how else I can get it to load?
Did you follow the instructions to load it into iTunes and then move to your MP3 player?
nevermind, we figured it out.
Excellent – I hope you'll come back and let me know how you like them! Good luck with C25K!
Thank you for making podcasts. Found this site by random googling. I'm on week 5, hoping to finish it this time!
Kind of sad, these mixes seem amazing, excpet that iTunes doesn't recognize my mp3 player, so I have to use Windows Media Player, which doesn't recognize the .mp4 extension.
Any solutions?
holy crap, thank you! you've actually made mixes that make me smile as well as move! xx
