No, it’s not a type-o, I have more boobs.
Not more in number, but more like they are BIGGER.
As you may recall, I recently took the big-girl step into the big-girl bra department, after more than 12 years in a sports bra.
I now sport two boobs, instead of the one I’ve been toting around for years and years.
There were some challenges to the two boobs, like gravity, and the gaping hole in my dress shirts, but overall, it has been a success. The boobs are WAY happier, my back feels better, and I don’t spend half the day adjusting them from fallout from the uniboob sling.
Now, about the more boobs issue.
It seems that in the interim, the boobs have grown. And not in an I-got-fatter kind of way. I weigh the same as I did when we started this little bra expedition. But my boobs, they seem to have EXPANDED. That’s right ladies, wear a sports bra for forever and ever, and then set them free, and they will breathe a big sigh of relief and GET BIGGER.
It makes some sense, theoretically, but in reality, I don’t think that I should have what seems to be like a whole shitload more boob than I used to.
How did I discover this, you ask?
Last night, <gasp>, I went to my local YMCA (thanks, Embolden for the Corporate Membership), and moved around a little bit. In preparation for this historic (but I hope to be more regular in the coming months) event, I put on a sports bra. One might think that it would fit. And it sort of did. Except for the boobage that was falling out the sides and the top.

So, we have stumbled upon another downside of the two boobs… expansion. Now, I understand that women pay a shitload of money for this kind of thing, but I wasn’t really looking for anything more than the D that I’ve got going… I was sort of one day hoping to shrink them (along with the rest of me, but that’s another post.)
What do you think? Should I have expected this expansion? That my body would naturally want to breathe and with that desire make my boobs go from really big to HUGE?
