A Question of Perspective

Where Did I Come From?

Where Did I Come From? That’s the first thing I saw when I opened IttyBiz’s post When a Mummy and a Daddy Love Each Other Very Much.

Where Did I Come From?Where Did I Come From?My mom gave Where Did I Come From to me and my friends Sara and Bobby when we were little.  I have no idea what little means anymore.  Little enough that we looked at the cartoon drawings of naked people and thought it was scandalous.

Unrelated to that, but related to IttyBiz, there is just something about Naomi Dunford that makes me happy.  I thoroughly enjoy reading her posts.  It probably has something to do with the fact that she is about as good at using the word fuck in as many parts of speech, and as often, as I do.

As my friend Ellison recently commented, the only thing worse than turning into your mother is turning into your partner’s mother.  Perhaps.  I think I might have started morphing into an amalgam of my parents long ago.

The well-honed usage of fuck? That is solidly a hand-me-down from my father.

Don’t judge.  It’s a talent.

That is indeed a talent, one which no-one should ever judge. Thanks for the love. :-) What a delightful post to read.
